Play Paintball with the APC

You don’t need to become a member to play with the APC, but if its your first game with us, there’s a few things you need to know.

  • Most gamedays we meet at 9:30am and games usually begin around 10:30am. If its your first day, get there early.
  • We usually play till around 4pm or untill we are all done, with a lunch break in between.
  • Let us know on the Facebook event page that your coming, dont be afraid to ask questions.
  • Everyone must sign in. Please do this as as soon as you arrive.

Who Can Play?

The Auckland Paintball Club is perfect for anybody that has an interest in paintball. It is for people that own their own gear, APC only provides the game, you need to bring everything else.

  • Players should be 14+ and if under 18 must have an adult sign them in.
  • There are all levels of players in the club. Beginners are welcome.
  • Players need to be responsible, our club is all about fun but paintball is extreme and may not be for everyone.
  • If you have only just purchased your first paintball gun and a mask but your keen to get into it, this is perfect for you.

We want new players to understand that everyone started somewhere and not to be scared off by seeing everyone dressed in full tactical camo or speedball gear with super flash guns. As players we all started out in t shirts and pants, it takes time to build the correct set up and playing gear. A lot of the time people just like to look cool while playing paintball. Some of the best players play in the most basic gear, the best looking gear doesn’t make the best paintballers. Sometimes simple is better.

What To Bring

Paint is BYO at APC games and Lunch is provided!

  • Mask
  • Paintball marker
  • Barrel sock
  • Paintballs
  • Gazebo, table & chair is always handy

You will be required to chronograph your marker before game on. (Chrono is provided).

How Much Does it Cost?

  • The fee is usually $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Read more about membership here.
  • Paintballs are BYO although at most gamedays paintballs are available on the day. Please ask before the day.

Can I Bring a Friend?

Yes of course! The APC owns some gear (markers and masks) that people can use. The idea is to encourage others into the sport without them having to buy some gear. If its your first time playing with the club, its a good idea to come with a friend.
